2 cups brown basmati or jasmine rice
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
2 teaspoons onion powder
1 teaspoon thyme
1 teaspoon oregano
2 teaspoons sea salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
6 tablespoons tomato paste plus enough water to make 4-1/4 cups
