Chocolate-Almond Milk

6 cups chilled unsweetened almond milk (or hazelnut milk)
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup agave syrup (or honey)
1 teaspoon vanilla

Blend all ingredients in blender until smooth. Chill or drink immediately.

We had a hankering for fruit smoothies this weekend. I got out the local, organic Santa Rosa plums and local blackberries from what I froze last summer. They joined two bananas in the Vita-Mix for a delicious blended treat.

These were a hit today! A tasty and healthy treat, perfect for a warm summer afternoon.
Chocolate Banana Shake
Serves 2

3 frozen bananas, broken into at least halves
2 tablespoons raw honey
