For today’s Real Food Quote Monday (RFQM), we’re still talking about the book, “Devil in the Milk” by Keith Woodford. Today’s quote answered a question for me. It is the first mention of the Guernsey cow – I had been wondering where that breed fit into the A1/A2 picture.
RFQM: Devil In The Milk
For today’s Real Food Quote Monday (RFQM), we’re talking about the book “Devil in the Milk” by Keith Woodford. Not all milk is equal! There’s a huge difference between milk that comes from modern cows versus milk from old-fashioned breeds such as Jerseys (or sheep and goats). Which you drink can have a serious impact on your health.

Real Food Quote Monday – “Enzyme Nutrition” by Dr. Edward Howell (third visit with him)
Every Monday, I pull out a meaningful quote from one of the great books or articles I’m reading and share it with you. This week’s quote (like in previous weeks) comes from “Enzyme Nutrition” by Dr. Edward Howell. I grabbed it to share with you while I was looking for information on which foods provide the most digestive enzymes. The significance of this is huge. If we would consume enough digestive enzymes, we free the body from doing so, and allow it to manufacture a full measure of disease-preventing metabolic enzymes.

Real Food Quote Monday – Grass-Fed Salad Bar
Every Monday, I pull out a meaningful quote from one of the great books or articles I’m reading (or re-reading) and share it with you. Last week, we talked about whether or not a small amount of grass-finishing was appropriate for grass-fed pastured herbivores such as cattle and sheep. I am open to continuing that discussion, but the quote I’ll share today is from the other side. I mean, really, the other side. The cow’s side.
