A departure from the usual, today I’d like to share… mostly pictures. I’ve shared a lot of these on Facebook, but I thought it would be fun to do a catch up of sorts for people who don’t see me over there. Enjoy!
Welcome to the first Video Q&A at gnowfglins.com. We’ll have many more of these in the coming weeks! Today’s question comes from Katie: “I was reading your no-microwave post and was wondering if you have any suggestions for while one is at work. I often bring my leftovers to work with me and that is where avoiding the microwave seems impossible. Any suggestions?” Read this post for the video (and print) answer.
Last week, I shared what’s ahead for GNOWFGLINS in 2012. Let’s take a moment to look back! Here are the top 25 most-viewed posts of 2011. These are some of my favorites, too.
I’m eagerly looking forward to 2012! I thought it would be fun to let you know some of what I’m planning for 2012. Lord willing, this is all coming up — plus more, I’m sure. Also, don’t forget that you can get up to 5 free thank you videos through New Year’s Day with eCourse membership, menu plan subscriptions, or eBook purchases.
What a year! This video highlights many of the fun and rewarding things we shared at GNOWFGLINS in 2011. Most importantly, together we praised God for His good gifts and tender mercies. Thank you for sharing in the many adventures and lessons of 2011 — and God bless your 2012!
I make tons of mistakes. On Saturday evening, I made a quadruple batch of sourdough chocolate cake. I quadrupled all the ingredients, but somehow I multiplied the baking soda by 8. This means the baking soda was double what it should be. Would the cakes turn out?
“All the year round, every hour of every day, God is richly blessing us; both when we sleep and when we wake his mercy waits upon us. The sun may leave us a legacy of darkness, but our God never ceases to shine upon his children with beams of love. Like a river, his lovingkindness is always flowing, with a fulness inexhaustible as his own nature. …” –Charles Spurgeon
I got home yesterday from Wise Traditions 2011. What a great trip! I got to see and do so many great things — and meet wonderful people. I was supposed to blog everyday to keep you up to date. Hopefully you followed #wapf on twitter or watched my posts on Facebook, because the blogging only happened once while I was there.
Now that I am home, let’s catch up. I’m going to pick up now where I left off — at Friday evening.
