Before I get to the winners of the Crock On! cookbook, I want to share some exciting tidbits of news with you!
Did I Get Picked?
Remember I asked for your support to win a spot at InfusionSoft’s annual conference? I so appreciate all who commented to cheer me on! I’m happy to say you did great — and it must have worked because they chose me be their live blogger at the conference in Arizona in March! Yippee! I got the call last week and I’ve been quite giddy ever since. Here’s InfusionSoft’s announcement post.
I’m planning to go early to the Phoenix-area to get together with GNOWFGLINS folks nearby. This will be on Sunday, March 24, 2013 or Monday, March 25, 2013. If you want to be included in the plans, send me an email at contact at gnowfglins dot com (or use the contact form). There’s no obligation of course, but it would be helpful to know who all is interested. And, if you have any ideas about what you’d like me to share, speak up.
92% OFF! 33 Wellness eBook Bundle
Did you see that you can get 33 Wellness eBooks for about a buck apiece? This is a 7-day sale ending Monday, Jan. 14, 2013 at noon so act now if you’re interested. Here’s more information (including my thoughts about the bundle) and here’s where to buy.
Sometimes Saying “NO” Is a Revolutionary Act
Michael Bunker has a new book called W1CK. This is a stand-alone prequel to Last Pilgrims, the end times novel he released last year (here’s my review of Last Pilgrims). I’m not done reading W1CK yet, but I wanted to tell you about it because I love it so far and it is only 99 cents on Kindle! That’s a pretty good deal. And by the way, you don’t actually need a Kindle to read it because there’s free software you can install on a computer or mobile device.
Here’s the main scoop. The main character, Clay, is headed home after living in New York City for six years. (He fled to NYC after his wife and daughters died in a car crash.) In the book, Hurricane Sandy has just hit, and he decides to go home — on foot, leaving cell phone behind — escaping the city and his life there. As he walks, you are privy to his reflections and encounters with modern life. It’s a journey that pulls you in. You will feel like you’re the one seeing through the facade of modern living.
So, check out W1CK, and then keep in mind that Michael Bunker is coordinating a book bomb on January 18, 2013. If you’re thinking of buying the paperback (perhaps for gifts), try to do it then. When a lot of people buy on the same day, the book’s rankings on Amazon benefit which then brings the book to the attention of casual browsers. The goal is to sell 500 books on that day — doable but needs our help to spread the word!
By the way, here’s a video trailer.
Dehydrating Class Opens with 2 New Features
And finally (before I announce the giveaway winners), today begins the Dehydrating eCourse at GNOWFGLINS! This morning, I released the Getting Started materials and members are getting their binders set up and sharing what they want to learn on the forums. If you haven’t yet joined us, now’s a great time! I’m looking forward to this class!
With this class, we’re doing two new — and hopefully fun — things. First, I’m adding quick lesson surveys to each lesson — complete them all and you’ll be invited to take a quiz. Passing scores get a PDF completion certificate. And second, I’m giving you all “homework” with each lesson. Both of these things are totally optional, but fun for all of us, I think.
Crock On! Winners
Okay, now let me announce the five winners of Crock On!, the brand-new crockpot cookbook by Stacy Myers. You’re going to love it! The winners are…
- Leigh Miller
- Denise Garretson
- Rosana Lewis
- Kyla Johnson
- Robin Morgan
Congratulations, Leigh, Denise, Rosana, Kyla, and Robin! I’m sending your email addresses to Stacy and she’ll get you set up with your Crock On! cookbook.
Everyone else, I hope you’ll consider getting the Crock On! cookbook. The recipes are wonderful and it is a great value at only $5.
Whew! So, tell me, what do you think of my news that I get to go to the InfusionCon 2013 conference? If you live in Phoenix, do you think you’ll be able to get together with me the weekend before?
