Video: The Ultimate CheesePress

I had a treat recently — Jerri and Nance from HomesteaderSupply.com sent me a cheesepress as a gift. Not just any press, but The Ultimate CheesePress.

I like this cheesepress so much, I made a video about it. That video is above. You’ll see how easy it is to use, plus I share why I like it so much. In a nutshell, its benefits to me are:

  • Easy to use — no gauge to read, etc.
  • Low space profile because the press sits right in a drip tray
  • Cheese texture is great and cheese slides in and out of mold easily

Please do watch the video, and you’ll see how easy it is to make cheese.

FYI: Last year when I released the Cultured Dairy and Basic Cheese eCourse and Cultured Dairy and Basic Cheese eBook, this press was not an option for you — because Jerri hadn’t yet designed it.

But now it is an option! And I have updated the eCourse materials to reflect that. (Members, log in and re-download the Ingredient and Equipment notes to have the latest information.)

Also, I updated this post from last year: Cheese Press Reviews. Although The Ultimate CheesePress is now my favorite, I would happily use any of the presses discussed there (and I do!).

The Ultimate CheesePress on Sale!

Are you in the market for a cheesepress? Do yourself a favor and check out The Ultimate CheesePress from Homesteader Supply.

It sells for $168.50.

Plus, Jerri throws in a bonus: 90-count cheesecloth.

What’s your favorite cheese press and why? If you’re in the market for a cheesepress, would you consider The Ultimate CheesePress?

P.S. I received my own Ultimate CheesePress from Homesteader Supply, without any obligation of giving it a positive review. Jerri and Nance sent it to me because they’re generous like that. I already told you how much I love it, and that’s why I’m sharing it with you. I may receive compensation for purchases that begin here, but truthfully, that doesn’t matter to me. I simply want you to know about it, too. :)

My husband made me a cheese press for my birthday- its awesome! We combined several designs that we found and made it work just for us. The good news is it only cost about $20 and is super sturdy and nice!

Yes, my husband has made me several cheese presses over the years that are awesome and cost little of nothing to make!. No need to spend big bucks for an awesome cheese press. The current two I have are made from oak and walnut. They use a twist down base and top. Bottom base has two pegs going up that the lids goes through and has a twist down center part to force the cheese down.

    Wonderful demo!

Wardee, you know me I have to ask a dumb question….. so

Is it possible to store and eat the cheese curds without pressing? Just curious :-)

Wardee :) just wanted to say thank you for posting this video! So helpful to us newbies who don’t know what to look for in a good cheese press. I just ordered this from the link you provided along with a couple things I just couldn’t live without ;)

I ordered this press this week. :). The video is so great and the press looks extremely user friendly. I think simple but well-made sounds perfect! Thank you again for the wonderful information you share here.

I’m so excited…I think I’m going to finally be able to order this press! I love how short it is cause it will fit under my cupboards here at this new place, where as the homemade one I’ve been using won’t…and the thing I love the MOST is I don’t have to use weight’s with it!! Can’t wait to get it so I can start using it!! :-))
