My Favorite Parts
Now you all know how much I love cultured foods, so I’m sure you’re not surprised that I am most excited about the 9 cultured milk recipes — the lime and white chocolate and vanilla with honey cinnamon swirl are likely to hit the Harmon household soon.

Exciting! Man, I would love this book to help me come up with some good dairy free ice creams – I am nursing and my son is very sensitive to dairy. We made a lot of ice cream before baby, but I had to cut out all dairy a few months after he was born. I loved making it at home; nothing better than homemade ice cream!! I sure do miss ice cream….

Looks like an interesting book. I just started drinking raw milk. But our store doesn’t carry butter or any other product made from raw milk. I’ve been fascinated reading how to make your own cream cheese, butter, etc and making ice cream from cultured milk…well that isn’t something you find everywhere. Can’t wait to try it.

This book is right up my alley, I love making as much as I can and ice cream is no different, but of course I don’t have a ice cream maker at the moment. I tired all the tricks, but it still turns out rock hard and icy and if this book offers tips for making it without and on buying a ice cream maker, that may help me out if I where to win it.
