New:

This may be a repeat for some of you but it was a very popular recipe so I thought I’d share it here. When I make it and there’s noone to share it with, I usually have enough for lunch or an afternoon snack, too. However, I don’t store it if I’ve added a raw egg. Enjoy! And thanks for hosting!

Hi Wardee! It’s been awhile since I’ve posted here, and that’s because I haven’t done any new recipes for awhile, I’ve been focusing more on food activism and education. I’m hoping to get more of those up here in the coming weeks. There sure are lots of great recipes here, thanks for hosting and I hope you and your family are doing well!
School was closed today due to ice! We have starte yogurt, a pot of beans, and the bread is rising. We’re going to have hamburgers for dinner. Chicken stock has been in the crockpot since yesterday afternoon.
What a wonderful site you have here! I’m so happy to have found you. I’ve linked up my banana muffins this week and I’m your newest subscriber. I look forward to getting to know you. Thanks so much for hosting! Blessings, Candace

Better late than not, finally posted my recipe for today. Hope you and your family are doing well and keeping warm. We actually have cold weather here in the Dallas area. Our two teens are enjoying it so. Zach actually took the wheels off his skateboard that he bought at a second store and tried to snow board on our side walk. The dog had fun fulling them too!
Carmen – you’re not the only one who’s late.
I just linked up my waffle recipe (from Katie at Kitchen Stewardship’s pancakes). My husband said they’re the best waffles he’s ever had. The boys loved them, too.
