    Hi to all,
I found GNOWFLINS a few months ago and tried to do too much, there was sourdough, milk kefir, water kefir, soaking grains and beans and rice. WOW my husband brought me back to earth and told me to start with just one item and get really good at it. So, I started with sourdough and water kefir… okay its two things, but two important things for me.

The water kefir I think i finally have down pretty good. I have some in the fridge ready to drink and more on the counter brewing. I used cranberry juice with a little cane sugar and our own chicken egg shells for minerals for the second brew. It has a lot of bubbles and tastes really good. I have to share it with family and friends because there is too much for me to drink by myself.

The sourdough is another story, I have tried several ways of starting it and just can’t get it going. But am not giving up:) I bought some organic grapes and am trying to create starter with spelt flour and the grapes. Any ideas to help me be successful??

Jenny @ Nourished Kitchen posted a Salisbury Steak recipe that looked sooo goood. I didn’t let not having all the ingredients deter me from making something yummy so I posted a cheap, quick and easy version!

This week I’m sharing our new cinnamon roll recipe (gluten-free), a family favorite- Clementine cake (gluten-free and dairy-free) and our go-to banana nut muffins that we make at least a couple times a month and they freeze great! They are also gluten-free AND low-carb. Enjoy!!

fyi: the smore’s frappe is not “God’s natural, organic, whole foods, grown locally and in season” – processed ice cream, chocolate syrup, whipped cream, marshmellows. I guess it’s possible to make all those things from scratch, but that’s not really the point is it? And there is no link back.

    Hi,
Long time no linky from me, but I’m joining back in late this week with Chocolate Roasted Almonds. Not heavy on the chocolate flavor but a nice snack none the less.
