I’ve made bread for years, since I was young living at home, when there were no Bosch’s to help with the kneading. I still experience a big air bubble in my bread once in a while. Not sure what causes it. Would love advice as to how to avoid it. blessings ~ Carmen

Instead of sharing a recipe, I shared a post about a newspaper article about the local food economy in my area. It shows that even in little towns, if people are passionate, they can make a difference!

Not sure if you can call it simple on the outset – since it was a LOT of work to get it in, but our garden setup will make our lives simpler now that we HAVE it in.

8 foot fencing, drip irrigation, and 18 – 20′x4′ beds. Enough for the whole family and likely to share and store!

    Thanks for hosting!

This week I linked up not with a recipe, but a suggestion for reducing plastic consumption.

Plastic is such burden on our planet, people need to learn how to reduce their use of it and realize that it is possible refuse single-use disposable plastic. There are alternatives, like carrying your own reusables. Even in public!
