“Consume less, produce more” has been rolling through my thoughts over the past week! Not only was I productive and didn’t waste as much time on the computer, but I got to be creative too!

I made 3 wool pants and 3 soakers for my new baby (we’ll be cloth diapering), using thrifted merino wool sweaters. I also sewed two small wet bags for my diaper bag, using fabric I’d purchased two years ago. I canned peach jam, and started the sour dough course. It feels good to use up what I have, and not have to go buy more stuff.

I also involved my almost-8-year-old daughter in a simple sewing gift, also using fabric from the stash. We made pennant/party bunting to give as a hostess gift.
