Sandwich Round-Up: Add Yours!

Welcome to the Sandwich Round-Up! During this season of the year, we’re doing more outside, perhaps going on picnics or having days at the park. This kind of weather and partaking in spring time activities makes me crave lighter, cooler meals – especially sandwiches! They’re portable, delicious, full of flavor, (hopefully) healthy, and easy to make. Sandwiches are my favorite food.

Please participate in the Sandwich Round-Up! Link up old or new posts in the thumbnail linky box below (if reading through RSS, please visit the blog to see it). You may add more than one sandwich idea. Make sure your post or posts includes a link to this post. If you don’t have a blog, you can share your sandwich ideas in the comments. Feel free to use the sandwich round-up graphic on your blog!

I’ll add several of my sandwiches: hamburgers, egg salad, wild salmon salad, and later on this morning, I’ll share our Sloppy Joe’s. Please come back throughout the day to see the sandwiches others add!

Thanks for participating and sharing your sandwich ideas! Hey, do you see that Facebook “like” button below this post (you have to be on the blog to see it)? Feel free to use it — only if I deserve it, of course! ;) I’m sharing this post in Fight Back Friday! hosted by FoodRenegade.

My picture doesn’t look like a roast beef wrap, but it is the Kefir Ranch Dressing that makes the Roast Beef Wrap so delicious. I’m looking forward to all the new sandwich ideas!!

I just found this — what a great idea! I don’t have any pictures of the following to join in today, but it’s one of my favorite all-time sandwiches and thought I’d at least share:

    sprouted grain bagel, toasted
    cultured cream cheese
    honey mustard
    honey smoked turkey
    roasted red bell pepper
    basil pesto
piece of romaine or green leaf lettuce

    Instructions:

bagel half #1 = mustard and lettuce
bagel half # 2 cream cheese, pesto, then turkey, bell pepper.

    Combine, cut and chow down.

    Lindsay, oh, that sounds good!
