Take the guesswork out of what to fix, what to buy and what to prepare. This week:
Class materials compiled into easy downloads:
Love the thumbnails!
I made your delicious fudge! To the vanilla layer, I added a couple of tablespoons of nut butter (could be made with crispy nuts). My husband was craving a nutty/chocolatey treat! This addition made the mixture much more liquidy while whizzing in the food processor, but when I put it in the freezer to firm up, all was well! The second chocolate layer spread on top of it very nicely, and now we have an amazingly delicious good for you treat on our hands!
And, I turned a very very dense not-quite-what-I-was-hoping-for loaf of sourdough bread into bread crumbs. These will go in a meatloaf recipe later this week!
Erin – That sounds yummy – what a great idea! Meatloaf… that’s been on my mind lately.
Leah – I know! The thumbnails are so great. I’m really happy about this feature!
I wasn’t prepared with a great photo this week, but I think the pictures are very cool and I’ll be ready next week. The recipe is for a soaked oatmeal pancake . . . delicious, hearty, and very nutritious.

Hi,
I’ve been playing with chicken this week & have put up a couple of favorite easy baked chicken recipes. Honey Dijon is the one I linked to here
Hi Wardeh! I am contributing my shephard’s pie recipe that I’ve been making for years, but last week I made some changes to it that made it even more yummy than usual. Thanks for hosting Tuesday Twisters Carnival!
.-= Raine´s last blog post… Nina Planck Talks Candidly About Industrial Food =-.
I had to tell you that we made the Baked Potato Salad for dinner last night. (Click on the Orange Cream Bites thumbprint and you will see the link to the recipe.) That recipe is a keeper!! We used red potatoes that I had on hand and left the skins on. We also used the combination of yogurt and sour cream. Enjoying your Tuesday Twisters! We are “twisting” a wedding at our house, so maybe after May 1 I will have something to contribute too:-)
I know it’s friday now, but I wanted to add my coconut vanilla pudding as part of the carnival.
It’s dairy-free, gluten-free, and refined-sugar free!
Andrea – it’s not too late! Lovely pudding!
