My Tuesday Twister posts are my weekly round-up of what’s going on in my kitchen and our lives, as it pertains to GNOWFGLINS. We try as much as possible to make use of “God’s natural, organic, whole foods, grown locally and in season.” So here we go – I’ll catch you up on what’s twisting in my kitchen this week!

- Fudge – I wish I could have gotten this done for the Gallery of Christmas Cookies, but it isn’t there yet. Still, it has potential.
- Fruity, Nutty Christmas Cookies – Baking these brought back so many memories! I remember the book that contains the recipe, and baking them as a family (or whoever was around) each year. Creating them with GNOWFGLINS ingredients made them chewier and every bit as yummy!
- Maple Cookies – I wanted to make these ever since my friend Julieanne told me about them. Thanks, Julieanne! The more I bake with sprouted flour, the more I see how easy it is. Usually, nothing else in the recipe needs adjusting. I made the full recipe, but only cooked one log of cookies. This is a good recipe for putting in the freezer, then thawing, cutting off your cookies and baking some fresh whenever you want cookies.
So, that’s it for me – what’s twisting in your kitchen? To participate in the Tuesday Twister Blog Carnival, visit this post. See you there!

The Gallery of Christmas Cookies began yesterday. Lots of fantastic cookie recipes are in it – please browse them and consider adding a recipe of your own!

Take the guesswork out of what to fix, what to buy and what to prepare. This week:

I’ll have to try those maple cookies. I love having cookies that you can make ahead and freeze the dough. We have people over the house on Christmas Eve and then my mother has a party on the weekend after Christmas, so if I make a bunch of cookies too early when I have the time, then they aren’t still good for the gatherings. This is a good solution.

I love fudge! I hope you can get it to a point to share it. My daughter asked me to make some last night but I can’t figure out how to adapt it and still have it set up. Then one of the other girls reminded me about the time I made it (the regular way) and we had to eat it with a spoon so maybe they wouldn’t even mind if it didn’t set up
