I don’t have too many links to share this week, but these few are very good!
- The LunchBox Project – A food collage journal by Lisa Orgler. Her goal in 2009 is to create one food masterpiece every day – a whimsical drawing of food on a playing card. The drawings are really fantastic! You should take a peek.
- A Dose of Humility – I recently started reading the Local Nourishment blog and find her writing down-to-earth, heartfelt and balanced. In A Dose of Humility, she writes of visiting the grocery store and seeing unhealthy people and carts full of junk food – and her humble desire to teach people about good food and good health. I hate the grocery store because I hate seeing what people are doing to themselves through their food choices, yet I have no right to tell them what to do. I won’t tell you what the punch line of her post is, just read all the way to the end and you’ll see the heart of them matter. (You’ll also want to read Feeding Guests - a funny and loving account of how she approaches having guests and serving healthy food to people who aren’t used to it.)
So that’s it for my links this week! Have you read anything that you would want to share with us?
