Yummm, strawberries and goat milk! The kids delight in such simple pleasures! (especially the ones they pick–and milk themselves!) How special! (Even snakes!)

I learned at a recent dehydrating class that there is only a 20% nutritional value loss with dehydrating foods (compared to 40% with freezing, and 60% with canning), so I dehydrated some of our strawberries (with the leaves for added vitamin C) and took them hiking this weekend. Amazingly delicious and simply fun to eat!

I love raspberries with stevia-sweetened greek-style yogurt and a spoonful of my stevia-sweetened homemade nutella. YUM!

They look beautiful and so yummy. I don’t have strawberries yet, but I have the promise of strawberries. My plants are full of flowers! However, no fresh goat milk to put on them.

Beautiful! We were promised strawberries in our CSA box this week and I cannot wait until they arrive. So perfect, so little and so sweet. I wonder what was up with that snake though.
