Use Painters’ Tape to Label Stored and Freezer Foods

bluepainterstapeMy sweet friend Mary submitted this week’s Kitchen Tip:

I use blue painters’ tape to mark the lids of freezer and stored items. I write on it with a pen or sharpie. This tape stays on in the freezer and easily peels right off. I use it to label my plastic lids for my canning jars, or ziplock bags. Many times I cook double of a meal to store in the freezer and then label it with the blue tape.

I’ve added blue painters’ tape to my shopping list for next week. How about you?
