Bottled Water Report from EWG

Yesterday, EWG released an industry-rattling report that reveals the dirty truth about bottled water.

“The bottled water industry promotes an image of purity, but comprehensive testing by the Environmental Working Group (EWG) reveals a surprising array of chemical contaminants in every bottled water brand analyzed, … at levels no different than routinely found in tap water.”

    What water do you recommend…. I hate the taste coming out of the tap….. Dont know what to drink lately. This is something I think about all the time.

    Hi, Tanya.

    You might benefit from an under-the-sink water filter or a countertop distiller. Some of them can be rented for a low monthly fee. We rent a reverse osmosis filter for all our drinking/cooking water. We have a well and great tasting water, but an old pressure tank puts lead in our water, which makes it unsafe to drink (we are going to replace that tank soon…). I would suggest you do some internet research on water filters, as it has been quite awhile since I did any research on the subject.
