My Kitchen Store Featuring Products from Greenfeet.com
There’s a new page to my site: GNOWFGLINS™ Kitchen Store, which features natural, sustainable, and/or recycled products from greenfeet.com.
If you click on any of the greenfeet.com links here or in the Kitchen Store, and then make a purchase from greenfeet.com yourself, then I will get paid. And that will help to support the work I do here at GNOWFGLINS™. I’ll be very grateful!

Wardeh,
That is a great selection of products. My kids have done well keeping track of their reusable plastic bottles at day camp this summer, so I am getting close to ordering the steel ones too. Mckenna was wondering if the bottles and/or the contents get really hot in the sun? I’m also really excited about the wax paper sandwich bags. I am setting up an order through my local Azure delivery service, but I’ll switch over to you for the things that overlap. Mckenna set her mind to crocheting a marketing bag out of recycled plastic grocery bags this summer. The problem was that neither she nor I knew how to crochet. The awesome (read “God”) solution was that I happened into a knitting store that just happened to be offering a class on crocheting market bags and it just happened to be starting the following week! We’ve had our first class and we’re well on our way. Thanks for your encouragement to go green!
Blessings, Kate
Hiya, Kate! I’m so happy you like what I selected. And there’s so much more on their website.
What a good idea to crochet a market bag… you have a genius for a daughter! She must have felt very validated to see her idea being implemented at the yarn store.
The wax paper bags are so nice, you’ll like them.
The stainless steel water bottles getting hot, I just don’t know. I suppose they’ll get as warm as anything else that isn’t insulated. But stainless steel is not really a good heat conductor, or why else would our ss pots have to have layers of copper and/or aluminum in the bottom core to conduct heat? I’ll let you know how it goes. The opening is big enough to put ice cubes in for extra coolness.
Everything I ordered from greenfeet.com just arrived. I’m astounded at the quality of the Anchor Hocking glass refrigerator storage dishes. They are incredible. So heavy duty and will last a lifetime I’m sure.
I’m really pleased you’ll consider ordering from greenfeet.com through my site. Just remember to come back here and click to go to their site, then they’ll know I referred you!
Love, Wardeh
The products are great. When we get back, I will order the Klean Kanteen and a couple of the 1 litre glass pitchers. I’ll be sure to use your links!
Do you see any advantage to the 25 (27 oz?) Klean Kanteen?
Thanks, Sangeeta! I am wanting to try the pitcher myself. They look wonderful don’t they? As for advantage of the 27 oz KK, do mean in relation to the 40 oz? If so we chose the 27 oz because it was closest to the 32 oz to which we were accustomed. It is plenty of water for an outing or to pack with a lunch. How much water are you accustomed to packing around? Love, Wardeh
