Hot Cocoa — Dairy-Free, Agave Sweetened
- 6 cups unsweetened almond milk, strained
- 1/2 cup agave syrup
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract (optional) — OR — 1/2 teaspoon mint extract (optional)
Whisk all ingredients together in a saucepot. Over medium heat and while stirring, bring contents to a very warm temperature. Taste. Add more cocoa or agave as desired. Serve!

Hot Cocoa made with Almond milk, will probably be really tasty, Can you taste the almond milk?
Not overly, no, but I think it is a bit nutty.
Really good, though. I made it for us this afternoon and added 1/2 teaspoon of mint extract for a minty cocoa. Love, Wardeh
