Blackberry-Plum-Banana Smoothie

blackberryplumsmoothie.jpg

We had a hankering for fruit smoothies this weekend. I got out the local, organic Santa Rosa plums and local blackberries from what I froze last summer. They joined two bananas in the Vita-Mix for a delicious blended treat.

Blackberry-Plum-Banana Smoothie

  • 2 bananas, ripe
  • 2-1/2 cups frozen plums
  • 2-1/2 cups frozen blackberries
  • 2 tablespoons raw agave syrup or raw honey
  • clean water

Place ingredients in Vita-Mix wet container or blender container. Fill with water three-quarters as high as the other contents. Turn on to variable speed 1, increase speed to 10, then flip to HIGH. Blend until smooth.

  1. Looks yummy!!!

  2. Now that looks really good. :) We still don’t have a vita-mix and our blender will not smooth out the seeds. My girls would not drink that because of the seeds. You know, Wardeh, that would be really good frozen as a freezer pops. :)
