Iced Nettle-Mint Tea

The weather got warm so it didn’t take long for me to start icing our Nettle-Mint Tea for Allergies.

I put double the amount of herbs in my French press (or 2 cups). I pour boiling, pure water over all of it. I fill a pitcher with 2 trays’ worth of ice cubes. After the tea has steeped for about 15 minutes, I pour all the tea into the pitcher. Then it goes in the refrigerator to finish chilling. Sweeten to taste.

  1. That sounds yummy. :)

  2. Hello, It has been a long time since I’ve had a visit with your blog. Annalee and I carry tissues were ever we go. Annalee has had a headache for three days now, though I believe she is feeling a little better today. So I will definitely try out your tea. thanks.
We visit the mountains about every other weekend working clearing and burning brush. On may 21st we had a friend bring in a bulldozer and cleared out a lot of brush. We now have a view!. Eric put an application in at Mariposa County Public Works so well see what happens. We haven’t ruled out moving to another state. Still looking. Have a Great Day,

Hello! How good to “see” you! I am sorry about Annalee and her allergies. It is just ramping up here, the allergy season, I mean. I am not happy about it. ;)
How wonderful that you have a view up there and are getting so much work done. So you’re thinking of building more of a structure now?

I think we should have a phone talk soon. :D
    Love, Wardeh
