  1. Wardeh, this was a real eye-opener for me, altho it is frustrating for me also….Organic is sooo expensive here in Vermont..yet it should be the least expensive don’t you think?? I feel a return to the way The Lord intended for us to eat in the first place should be at the top of everyones list…Thank you for sharing this, I wish I had you nearby to help me to change things in my own life, you seem to do it with such ease, I admire you for that..keep up the good work my Dear friend..warm hugs

  2. Mona, I hope you aren’t discouraged. I know it is frustrating. I pray for the Lord to help me not be angry that it costs so much more to make good food choices. In addition, we have a hard time finding inexpensive organic foods, or even a good selection. Most times, we do without.

I wish I could help you. I want you to know that changes are hard for us, too. We made this change several years ago. I think 4 or 5. So we are “settled” into it, but when we did it, it was hard. And we’re still not done learning or changing!

I want to encourage you to do what you can, as you can. The Lord will show you what you should do. Love, Wardeh

    Love, Wardeh

  3. Organic food is expensive here too Wardeh, but I have decided to buy as much as I can afford each week. The good thing is Dave likes the organic better, he thinks it tastes better, so I have my dh’s approval to keep going! The amazing thing I’ve noticed with my weekly shopping budget is that I’ve made other changes in what I buy (cleaners, washing powders etc) and my shopping bill seems to be no worse than before I started to buy organic foods…I hope that encourages you Mona!!

Thanks Wardeh, you are such an encouragement to me! :))

  4. That is good encouragement Yvonne! I appreciate what you have shared. We are agreeing more and more with your husband. Organic, natural foods do taste better. You’re doing great to balance out how you spend your weekly grocery money!

    Love, Wardeh

  5. These are foods I am careful to buy organic as much as possible since I first read this list a while back.

I had a really difficult month (October) and didn’t eat so well for about half of my meals. Looking forward to getting back on track this month! :)
