My Cooking Style

I have friends who are wonderful cooks. They seem to know alot about food, and gourmet food at that. There are many times when I feel like a simpleton in comparison to others and all the things they know about food, fine foods, skillful preparations and where the best restaurants are.

I am not strong in the gourmet aspect of food. I hope one day to know more techniques and appreciate finer foods, but for the time being, what my family needs and desires are the things that I am able and love to do — create healthy, tasty, simple, from-scratch meals. We’re not gourmet around here. If you came to visit, we’d probably serve you burritos or tacos or a hearty chili. Perhaps a sandwich bar. Each ingredient would be pretty close to the way God made it — healthy, simple and delicious. I think you’d like it!

I am on my way to your house for a meal right now!

You are such an inspiration to me in the kitchen Dear One, you have helped me to want to use my energy wisely to cook from scratch again, I am having a ball making english muffins, who do you think motivated me to try something new??

Gourmet is good, sometimes, yet whole natural foods are good ALL the time..I love you..Mona
