Thanks Wardeh. I grind our flax seeds in a coffee grinder. I put it in all of our freezer pops, when the kids are not looking. :D

The Vita-Mix chops them a bit, but they still are there. You could use a different berry, like maybe blueberries, instead. And also, you might want to grind the flax seeds beforehand, to make sure they are ground up, as I'm not sure if a regular blender would grind them sufficiently.

Wardeh, I am having a good time looking around your blog today. :D It is making me hungry. (lol) This smoothie sounds wonderful. I do not have a Vita-Mix and my children do not like the raspberry in anything because of the seeds. Does you Vita-Mix chop them up?

I just have a Champion Juicer and a regular blender.

Dear Wardeh,

I have to say that this sounds like my favorite of all the smoothies you've listed thus far. We used the last of our spinach this evening in a salad that was totally scrumptious. We will get some more greens next week.

Our salad tonight consisted of: 3/4 spinach, 1/4 iceberg & Romaine, a few grated carrots, raisins, shredded coconut and each person's favorite organic dressing. Oh, was it good!
