		<description>Thank you for this.  It has been a long time since I&#039;ve made apple salad, in fact had sort of forgotten about it!  It looks heavenly.  I think I am going to try it this way:  Mix the water with lemon juice and soak chopped walnuts and raisins overnight, then in the morning, add the sliced apples and let them soak while I gather the other things.  Drain, and mix it all together.  I have found that I like my raisins soaked and moist and also the walnuts and then I don&#039;t have to dehydrate them.  Lazy.  I know.  :)</description>
